Notice to Auction the Culpin house in Woodnewton

The copyhold property and land of Culpin family was occupied from at least the early 1600s to the 1800s and was still occupied by the family as late as 1827. The extract below is a copy of the original bill of sale By this period it appears the copyhold was in another person's name and Richard rented the property, from the copyholder. This bill of sale records the sale of that property. This marks the formal end of their holdings in the area. The family moved out of the Woodnewton area.
